Famous Support

Our goal at Famous is to provide you with exceptional customer service and support. Phone support is available at (559) 438-3600. Current customers can also fax support questions to (559) 447-6338. Our support department is open Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) from 6:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

GoToAssist Click this GoToAssist link to go to our live remote-assistance tool. Used while you are on the phone with Famous Support, this tool allows the support team member, together with you, to view your desktop and share control of your mouse and keyboard.

For year-end updates for Version 5.8 and Version 6, click the Customer Login link above. Additionally, Version 6 customers can log in to download software updates, search the Version 6 Knowledge Base, and e-mail Version 6 Support. Your customer serial number and password are required to access the customer area of this Web site.

The Famous Report Viewer allows non-Famous users to view Famous Version 6 reports on-line. Anyone can download the Famous Report Viewer free of charge.

NOTE: The report viewer has been updated for build 104 and for Windows 2003. If you need to view reports created in build 104, or if you are using Windows 2003, you must download and install the latest report viewer.

Famous Software Support provides you with:

  • Enhancements that include new features, changes required by regulations and laws, and requests made by Famous users.
  • Unlimited telephone support for questions regarding operation and implementation of Famous.
  • Troubleshooting of hardware and operating system problems to the extent necessary to determine that the problem is not caused by Famous Software. The nature of such problems will be explained and a course of action suggested.
  • Training Services
    Whether you need follow-up training for employees or wish to re-evaluate your needs to insure the best use of Famous, our consultants can help you. Services are available at your site or in our office. Travel expenses are charged for on-site services. Our consultants are available for:

    -Training of new employees
    -Development of office procedures
    -Evaluation of your use of Famous
    -Other training requirements


  • Classes and Seminars
    Periodically, Famous Customer Support conducts training classes and new version release seminars in various locations throughout the United States.  Classes, both general and advanced are organized by application allowing you to choose those which best meet your needs. In addition to attending scheduled
    classes, you may wish to have Famous Customer Support personnel come to your location and conduct a class specifically for your staff. Click here for class schedule information.

  • Operating Systems**
    Technical Services may provide consulting services for your computer systems that are not covered by Famous Software Support. Technical services are provided on an "as available" basis and are billable.

    ** Services are restricted to approved software and hardware.

  • Fees are based on the applications purchased. A fee schedule is published in the Famous Software Price List. See Operating Systems above for services related to your hardware and/or operating system. Operating system services are not included in Famous Software Support.
  • Travel Charges
    Travel expenses for on-site training or other purposes are reimbursable according to the rate schedule. Transportation methods and lodging accommodations are selected on a reasonable and customary basis for business travel in your area. Rate schedules are available upon request.
